This Privacy Policy describes how Shilosoft ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit shilosoft.com.

1. Information we collect

• Information you submit voluntarily. When you email us at contact@shilosoft.com or share contact details through our chatbot (name, email, company, project description), we collect that information so we can respond to you.
• Chatbot conversations. Messages you send to our on-site assistant are processed in real time by Anthropic's Claude API. We do not store full conversations on our own servers; only lead information you explicitly provide is retained by email.
• Usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which collects aggregated, cookie-free metrics (page views, referrers, country) without identifying individual visitors.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request data such as IP address and user agent for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use information

• To respond to your inquiries and follow up about potential work.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.
• To prevent abuse of the chatbot and other site functionality (rate limiting).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your information for advertising.

3. Service providers

We share limited information with the following processors strictly to operate the site:

• Vercel — hosting, analytics, and serverless functions.
• Anthropic — AI processing for the on-site chatbot (Claude API). Anthropic does not use customer API inputs to train its models by default.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for lead notifications.
• Zoho Mail — hosting for our `@shilosoft.com` mailboxes.
• Hostinger — domain DNS for shilosoft.com.

4. Data retention

Lead information you submit by chatbot or email is retained in our email inbox for as long as needed to respond and maintain a business record. You may request deletion at any time.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. California residents have rights under the CCPA. To exercise any right, email contact@shilosoft.com.

6. Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may use a small number of strictly necessary cookies for basic functionality.

7. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
